GUARANTEE. If within 7 days of your purchase you are not
completely satisfied, we will refund your purchase for the total
amount minus our shipping fees. Returns are subject to a 15%
restocking fee.

30 Day Warranty
All CPI computer systems have been
thoroughly inspected by our technical staff and approved for a
30-day warranty. During the 30 day warranty period, CPI will
repair or replace at its option, any defective products or parts
at no additional charge, provided that the product is returned by
carry-in or prepaid shipping to CPI. A purchase receipt will be
required before warranty service is rendered. If you are shipping
the product to us, it must be carefully packed, send prepaid, and
adequately insured, and in the original packaging. Enclose your
purchase receipt and a letter detailing the problem.
This warranty covers normal consumer use and does not cover damage
which occurs in shipment or failure which results from alteration,
accident, misuse, abuse or negligence. Also not covered under this
warranty are malfunctions which may occur as a result of defective
or malfunctioning software products and equipment defects which
occur as a result of improper or irregular power sources and
uncontrolled static electricity in the users operating
environment. Any alteration of the product (including removal or
addition of parts) after purchase from CPI
voids this warranty in its entirety. Items NOT covered by the
warranty include batteries, ribbons, software and printer
cartridges. Notebook batteries, that are included in our
refurbished systems, are sold as is. They are not covered under
the CPI warranty, and cannot be returned or exchanged.
CPI shall not be liable for direct,
indirect, incidental, consequential, or other types of damages
resulting from the use of any CPI products other than the
liability stated above.
Lifetime Labor Warranty on Computer Systems
While other computer stores
push extended warranties or charge as much as $100 per hour for
service, CPI provides a lifetime of labor free of charge. If any
component within your system ever fails, even after the original
30 days warranty has expired, CPI will provide labor free of
charge for as long as you own your computer.
Lifetime limited labor
warranty entitles the owner of system purchased from CPI to free
repair service beyond the time span of a 30 days limited system
warranty, for the
diagnosing and installation of replacement parts. The cost of new
replacement parts will be paid for by the customer. This
additional lifetime extended labor warranty shall not cover the
repair of items not normally serviced by CPI. Specifically, the
repair of individual component parts such as video monitors, disk
drives, circuit boards, keyboards, printers, memory products,
cables and software are not covered by this warranty.
However, if the need
for repair was due to customer negligence, misuse, usage not in
accordance with product instructions, failure to perform required
preventive maintenance, and problems caused by use of parts and
components not supplied by CPI, CPI reserves the right to charge
service fees at industry-standard hourly rates.
Under provisions of
lifetime limited labor warranty Customer is responsible for
shipping the system to and from CPI’s repair facilities. Customer
is held responsible for a market price (at the time of repair) of
the replacement part(s) needed to perform the repair upon
expiration of 30 days limited system warranty.
Lifetime Upgrade Policy
Most system CPI sells are designed for
upgradeability, ensuring many years of enjoyment. If you ever want
to upgrade or add new features to your system, simply purchase the
part from any CPI location and we will provide the labor for free!
